WaterBabies Workshop

The therapeutic properties of warm water immersion have been known for centuries. Baths, showers and whirlpools have been used for comfort during labour and birth for many years.

Immersion in water for the birth of the baby is becoming increasingly common as women look to achieve the benefits of shorter labours, fewer interventions, and enhanced comfort and relaxation.

This 2-hour workshop offers the chance to learn about the use of water for labour and birth, including statistics & safety, supplies, and birth pool options.

This course is taught by our wonderful and experienced instructors Shannon Comire and Heather Penner.
