  • Graduate of the University of Waterloo (B.Sc. 1992) and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (N.D. 1997)


  • Practising Naturopathic Doctor since 1997.

  • President - Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors - A resource for professional support for those Naturopathic Doctors working with pregnant and birthing families and a referral service for the public to access those naturopathic doctors who have a special emphasis on pregnancy, birth and postpartum in their practises.   • Past Board Member - Journey Support Services - a non-profit post partum support group in York Region.


  • Doula – trained through Association of Labour Assistants and Childbirth Educators (ALACE) and through Doulas of North America (DONA).
    • Attend births and provide prenatal and post partum care. Practising Doula since 1992. Have attended many hospital and home births.

  • Past faculty member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine; instructor of Naturopathic Obstetrics as well as external clinical supervisor.


  • Special Interest in Women’s and Children’s Health with particular focus on the Childbearing Year.


  • Past Medical Director – Telus Corporate Wellness Center.


  • Mother of three beautifully homebirthed sons.


  • Nominated as "Woman of the Year" by YWCA, 2000.


  • Experienced corporate and public speaker.


  • Consulting expert to "A Woman’s Book of Healing Herbs" by Rodale Press and "Treat the Cause" by Dr. Peter Papadogianis N.D.
